2. Information you enter into calculators
The calculator tools are designed to perform calculations in your browser. The current calculator pages do not ask for your PAN, Aadhaar number, taxpayer account password, bank credentials, or identity documents. Based on the supplied front-end code, calculator values are processed locally and are not submitted by the calculator interface to a SeeMyTax application server.
Do not enter identifying details or information you would not want someone with access to your device to see. Browser extensions, device monitoring software, shared devices, and compromised devices are outside this site’s control.
3. Server logs, hosting and security
Even when calculations run locally, the hosting provider may process routine technical information such as IP address, request time, requested file, browser or device information, and security logs. The actual collection, retention period and access controls depend on the hosting provider and deployment configuration. The site owner should consult the host’s terms and privacy documentation for the live deployment.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The supplied static files do not intentionally use analytics, advertising tags, login sessions, or tracking cookies. This statement may no longer be accurate if the deployed site or hosting platform adds third-party scripts or services. 5. Storage and retention
The current calculator code does not intentionally save entered values to local storage or send them to a database. Values may remain temporarily visible in the open page until you clear or close it. Hosting logs, if generated, are governed by the host’s retention practices.
